Young Frankenstein – The Shane Center, 415 E. Lewis St., Livingston: The Shane Lalani Center for the Arts, in Livingston, Montana, is pleased to announce the first production of its 2017-2018 Community Theatre Season: Mel Brooks’ YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN. When the grandson of the infamous Victor Frankenstein inherits his family’s estate in Transylvania, he finds himself in the mad scientist shoes of his ancestors. With the help of a hunchbacked sidekick and leggy lab assistant, Frederick Frankenstein (it’s “Fronkensteen”) manages to bring to life a creature that rivals his grandfather’s. Copenhagen at the Black Box – MSU Black Box Theater, 11th and Grant, Bozeman: Considered “an electrifying work of art” by The New York Times, Copenhagen deals with a historic meeting between two prominent physicists responsible for the dawning of the “atomic age.” Themes of politics, morality, and the human side of scientific discovery make Copenhagen a compelling evening at the theater. 8:00 PM. Trophy: The Emerson, 111 S. Grand Avenue, Bozeman: The Bozeman Doc Series presents the critically acclaimed new documentary, Trophy.
